Gerti Shehu, the 31-year-old who attacked the chief democrat Sali Berisha, is expected to appear before the court today.

Three days after he punched the head of the Democratic Party in the December 6 protest, Shehu is expected to be familiar with the security measure.

The prosecutor's office has asked to leave the security measure in prison due to the high risk of the person, but this decision will be in the hands of the Tirana Court. He is charged with two charges: 'Assault due to duty' and 'Intentional wounding'.
