He did not stop the wanted man, the officer of Elbasan (NAME) is suspended from
Police Elbasan

A police officer in Elbasan has been suspended from duty because he allegedly did not stop a wanted person.

It is about officer Ulian Shpataraku, with the duty of Head of the Illegal Traffic and Narcotics Section at DVP Elbasan.

The decision was taken by the Supreme Court, which overturned the decision of the Durrës Court of Appeal and upheld the decision of the Elbasan Court of First Instance. And the decision has been implemented by the Regional Directorate of the Elbasan-Korçë Police Surveillance Agency.

"The suspension of the 38-year-old, police officer, was made in the framework of a criminal proceeding of 2022, followed by AMP Elbasan under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan.

It is suspected that the officer, in abuse of duty, with actions contrary to the law, did not arrest a citizen declared wanted, who was accompanied in the premises of the DVP Elbasan," the Police announcement states.
