The teacher, Zylyftar Bregu , opposed the statement of the deputy of the Socialist Party, Denis Deliu , about the food consumed by the prisoners.

The MP of the SP stated that in Albania it is a novelty for convicted persons to order food, meanwhile, according to him, such a thing is allowed in other countries.

Bregu did not agree with this as the consequences of this action are negative, as he added that the legislation stipulates that prison dishes must be consumed.

Although Deliu claims that the prisoners eat the food cooked by the cooks inside the bars, the lecturer indicated that only 15% of them eat the food.

Denis Deliu: I was in a project abroad, one of them Sardinia, where we coordinated several prisons. We have seen all the work, the movements, we have observed everything. A year ago when we discussed and held a meeting with the general director of prisons. Albanian prisons are monitored by all international organizations, but they have not marked it among the conditions that should be changed. I think it is a prisoner's right.

Denis Deliu: I do not know that this has been opposed by the organizations.

Zylyftar Bregu: It is in the legislation that the convict must eat prison food, it is a kind of punishment.
