Teachers' protest

The lecturers of the Faculty of Sciences have come out in protest as they demand an increase in salaries. They demand that the government include them in the aid package to cope with the increased prices as a result of the crisis.

"Samari is more expensive than a horse, we take the students out, and they get more than us, if it is halal, we will stop the teaching process until they raise our salaries," said a laboratory assistant.

They have presented a series of demands, where they say salaries should reach the level of Kosovo.

"They demand a salary increase, they propose to reach the level of university salaries within 2 years, the same as Kosovo, to increase by 30% in October, and to increase again by 20% in the following October. Increased funding for scientific research", are some of their demands.
