The Head of the State Police, Skënder Hitaj , appeared this Thursday, May 7, at a media conference where he announced that the form of communication with the public will change.

Hita announced some of the new measures that are particularly related to the way news and information are conveyed to the public, emphasizing that these changes come after numerous concerns from citizens regarding the way events are reported and information is conveyed.

Within the framework of these changes, Hita announced that monthly and annual statistical data will be published regularly and will be accessible to the public on the official website of the State Police.

Likewise, for the most dynamic events, communication will take place in real time, but in a filtered and verified manner by the relevant structures.
