The trial begins at the GJKKO for two socialist mayors

Kristjan Shkreli of Vau i Dejës and Majlinda Bufi of Roskovec are the two socialist mayors who appeared before the GJKKO on Friday.

They have been taken into custody by SPAK and, for senior local officials, the case has moved to a preliminary hearing.

Shkreli is accused of corruption in the May 11 elections, while Bufi is accused of using public office for political activity.

Shkreli and Bufi are the next mayors to face justice.
