Mother of 14-year-old who was killed by peer: I didn't want Martin, the two

The mother of Martin Can, who was killed a month ago in front of Fan Noli School in Tirana by his peer, Mario Përlleshi, shared details from the life of her late son today.

In an interview for "Opinion" on Tv Klan, Florina Cani said that she took maximum care of the well-being of Martin and his brother Henri, who is a year younger than Martin.

Florina said that due to a speech impediment that Henri has (dyslexia), she and her husband had decided not to send their sons to the same school, in order to protect Martin from bullying.

She said that to avoid any possibility of Martin being bullied at school for being his little brother, they decided to send Henry to school in Sauk and Martin to Fan Noli School.

"I worked in education for 8 years in the village, where I lived. After that time, I joined my husband who came from exile and we got married, after marriage Martini came to us, he was our joy, our compass, everything we had, he was filled with love and he himself shows it in the photo. I have many words to say about Martini. I stopped working just to raise those children. I worked in Martanesh and taught Language and Literature. I decided to leave my job to raise Martini alone because he was a great joy for us. We raised him with a lot of love. After Martini, Henri also came into our lives, we encountered a few difficulties, he is 13 years old. This was our progress and our beginnings. I took the boys to different schools, Henri to Sauk, Martini to Fan Noli, so that they wouldn't bully him for being a brother ", said Florina Cani.
