But according to the journalist, Gazmir Raci, the Serbian state does not allow this patriotic act and it is expected that there will be a fine for the mayor Arifi. He said that the government of Albania should support Presheva to negotiate with Serbia on the use of national symbols.

"Today, the flag was placed in the municipality building and it is illegal. The Serbian state will punish him with a fine. Here, Albania should intervene and communicate with the Serbian state. We cannot have double standards and I welcome this celebration to reflect that we should approach Preševo ​​more because they still do not have the right to put up the national flag. For several years, the mayor of the municipality of Presevo has been fined and denied this basic right",  said the journalist in an interview for Report TV.
