The construction and legalization of the 7-story hotel by the sea, 8 officials

The construction and subsequent legalization of a 7-story hotel located near the coast line of the city of Saranda, has put 11 officials of ASHK and IVMT in trouble with justice in this city.

Arrest warrants have been issued by the Prosecutor's Office for the hotel that is owned by one of the former leaders of ALUIZNI in Saranda, and so far 8 of them have been executed, while three other people are still wanted.

All 11 defendants, part of criminal proceedings no. 37 of 2024, are under investigation for the criminal offenses of 'falsification of documents', 'illegal construction' and 'abuse of duty', provided by articles 186, 199/a/4 and 248 of the Criminal Code.

ES - Specialist/engineer in the Cartography Sector at DVASHK Saranda;

EL - Specialist/engineer in the Cartography Sector at DVASHK Saranda;

I. P - Specialist in the local Directorate of  ASHK Saranda ;

VQ - Inspector at IVMT, Saranda Municipality ;

T. S - Inspector at IVMT, Saranda Municipality ;

OD - Inspector at IVMT, Saranda Municipality ;

DB - Specialist/inspector in the Territory Inspection Sector at the Regional Directorate IKMT Vlorë; AND

MS - Specialist/inspector in the Territory Inspection Sector at the IKMT Vlorë Regional Directorate

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Court of General Jurisdiction, Sarandë, is continuing the investigative actions to identify and bring to criminal responsibility also other persons involved in illegal actions and legal violations in the exercise of state duties.
