Given the weather situation with snowfall in Dibër, Kukës, Rrugë e Kombit, Shkodër, Korçë, Qafë Thanë, the State Police has appealed for caution for drivers of vehicles and motorcycles.

Due to snowfall in the territory of North Macedonia, a truck has skidded on the Struga-Qafë Thanë axis, temporarily blocking the road. Macedonian authorities have temporarily banned the circulation of vehicles at the entrance to their territory, until the axis is unblocked.

"Traffic Police services are all on the ground to orient and assist road users and to monitor the movement of vehicles, with the aim of preventing road accidents.

Due to limited visibility at night, the Traffic Police appeal to drivers of vehicles and motorcycles to increase vigilance, moderate speed and wear seat belts.

To strictly respect road signs and cooperate with the Traffic Police services, if necessary, which are located on the ground.

Meanwhile, snowplows continue to work intensively to clear snow and spread salt, and all road axes are open," the Police announced.
