Dozens of cars are blocked by snow on the Peshkopi-Maqellarë axis

Heavy snowfall has caused problems with road traffic.

On the Peshkopi-Maqellarë axis, dozens of vehicles are blocked at two points, one at the Melani bridge, and another at the Dovolani mountain range.

The rainfall continues with high intensity and at this moment there is over 20 cm of snow in these points. The road maintenance company has only brought out 4 snow removal vehicles which are insufficient to unblock the road, while some drivers were caught by surprise after having removed their winter tires.

The same situation is on the Peshkopi-Kukës axis where the thickness varies up to 30 cm in Doda Castle, but no blockages are reported.
