The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs during the signing of the agreement with DASH representatives

The Foreign Ministry of Albania announces that the movement of Albanian citizens from Albania to the USA and vice versa has been facilitated.

In agreement and cooperation with the Department of State, now Albanian citizens can travel to the USA even if their passport expires in the last 6 months before the trip. 

At the same time, Albanian citizens returning from the USA to Albania can travel even if their passport has expired.

The decision was agreed today, during the meeting that the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs had in Tirana with high representatives of the Department of State, the decision which puts Albania in the so-called "Group of the 6-month Club".
