The Criminal Court of Kosovo has sentenced citizens Irisa Puca and Adrian Korriku to prison as part of a structured criminal group that stole millions of euros from European citizens through "Call-Center" fraud.
Irisa Puca has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, but will serve 6 (six) years and 8 (eight) months in prison due to the summary trial. She was convicted of computer fraud and organized criminal group.
The same sentence, for the same charges, was also received by citizen Adrian Korriku.
Investigations revealed that they were part of a vast network of call centers from Georgia to Ukraine, through which they defrauded European citizens with "Forex" or similar platforms, mainly in the field of cryptocurrencies.
This network was controlled by the "Milton Group", while in Albania an important role was also played by Amant Josifi. The latter escaped, allegedly after being exposed, just moments before the SPAK action.
The investigations were initially launched by the prosecutor's office in Germany.
