They took 500-1000 euros for transporting immigrants to Tirana, the 19-year-old

A 19-year-old identified as Maldin Hekurani was arrested by the police in Pogradec for transporting 6 illegal immigrants.

His 21-year-old friend who controlled the road for the police, they received 500-1000 euros for transporting immigrants to Tirana, is wanted.

Notice : 

The coded police operation "Tarifa" is finalized, for cracking down on the criminal activity of providing assistance to foreign citizens, for illegal border crossing. 

He was caught transporting 6 foreign citizens, against the profit of 500-1000 euros per person, with the aim of illegally crossing the border, the 19-year-old was put in handcuffs.    

Another citizen is wanted, who allegedly monitored the road, to signal the 19-year-old, in case there were police officers.  

The services of the Pogradec Police Station, in cooperation with the services of the Road Police Sector of DVP Korçë, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Tarifa", as a result of which another case of criminal activity was struck in the field of providing assistance to citizens foreigners, against profit, for illegal border crossing.  

As a result of this operation, the citizen was arrested in the act:

MH, 19 years old, resident of Kavaja, citizen N. Ç., 21 years old, resident of Kavaja, was also declared wanted. 

The citizen MH was caught by the services of the Traffic Police, at the exit of the city of Pogradec, transporting in the direction of Tirana, with the "Benz" type vehicle, against the profit of 500-1000 euros per person, 6 foreign citizens, who had as their goal illegal crossing to EU countries.     

From the conducted investigations, it turned out that the citizen N. Ç. was also an accomplice in this criminal activity, who monitored the road to signal the citizen MH, in case there was a presence of the Police services.  

The materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Pogradec Judicial District Court, for further action.
