An attempted robbery happened after midnight in Lezhë, where an elderly man was slightly injured.

Two masked and armed persons entered the apartment in Malecaj village around 02:00 after midnight. Nikoll Buja, the head of the family, was at home and he heard them and confronted them.

The robbers shot him in the head with hard objects and fired the gun, but fortunately the bullets did not hit the old man.

The robbers quickly left without managing to take anything from the Buja family's apartment. The police arrived at the apartment a few minutes after being alerted by the residents, and have already started investigations to identify and catch the robbers.
