Rei, only 15 years old, was one of the victims who drowned the day before at Vilë-Boshtovë beach.

Along with him, his father, 50-year-old Elvis Halilaj, and his 13-year-old younger brother passed away. The minor went to the beach with great zeal, but the end was tragic. A few hours before the serious event, he posted on 'Instagram' a video where he showed the beach, where his life was taken. 

Rei's friends have also expressed their condolences for this tragedy. They have posted photos of their friend writing ' Rest in peace '.

The services of the Marine Police Unit announced that they intervened to save them, but the three people had died as a result of the sea currents.

Initially, the police announced that there were three citizens from Kosovo, but after further information, they reported that the three victims were from Tirana. It was reported that there was no coast guard in the area and that the ambulance was delayed for almost 1 hour.
