Massacred 82-year-old neighbor, footage of the perpetrator emerges minutes after
Janina Fation

This is the moment when 39-year-old Fation Janina, the perpetrator of the murder of his 82-year-old neighbor, Paulin Gila, enters the building where he lived in neighborhood 16 in Durrës and just a few minutes later he commits the serious crime.

This video, provided by Tv Klan, was captured by a camera in the area, which helped investigators solve the macabre murder that the 39-year-old, now arrested, committed on the evening of December 30.

The 82-year-old was beaten to death with hard objects and then stabbed by Fation Janina, an event that is believed to have been recorded around 8:00 PM.

Through security cameras, the police discovered that the perpetrator was the only person to enter the building before the incident and left a few hours after committing it.

Under these conditions, investigators verified which of the victim's neighbors, Paulin Gila, could be behind this crime, based on data obtained through operational means.

After his arrest, the 39-year-old himself confessed to the serious crime, saying that the cause was a debt of 20,000 lek that the victim owed him.

The author, Fation Janina, had been living alone for a long time and was known in the area as a person who consumed alcohol. The victim, Paulin Gila, a father of 3 sons, who have long been in emigration to Italy, also lived alone.
