A group of 10 special prosecutors, led by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, are in the United States of America for a series of meetings and trainings.

On the part of SPAK, there is no official announcement about this visit, but the American Embassy has reacted on social networks by writing that the prosecutors are participating in a study visit to Washington this week.

In this visit, SPAK prosecutors are accompanied by American OPDAT representatives in Tirana. According to the announcement, they met with leaders in the Department of Justice and with representatives of the American Criminal Investigation Training Program, ICITAP.

Part of the discussions, says the American Embassy, ​​were the security challenges that SPAK prosecutors addressed with the US Marshals Service, which is the service responsible for the protection of federal judges and prosecutors, court staff and witnesses.

Part of the visit will also be meetings at the State Department, with representatives of the DEA and with those of the FBI.
