A serious accident was recorded on Sunday afternoon, around 17:05 on the Prrenjas-Librazhd national axis, in Qukës, at the place known as "Lokali i Zenelit".

According to preliminary information, three vehicles were involved in the accident, injuring three citizens, including one person who is in serious condition.

The injured were urgently transported to the hospital by ambulance. The collision also caused considerable material damage.

Due to the incident, traffic in this segment is continuing with one lane, creating delays in movement. Police forces have arrived at the scene, as well as a team from the Prrenja Municipality fire service, who have intervened to remove the injured from the vehicles and then to clear the road and restore traffic.

The causes of the accident are still unclear, while the investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
