A serious car accident took place this evening on the "Lushnjë-Fier" road axis, after a 55-year-old man hit an elderly man to death.

Citizen AF, driving a "Ford" type vehicle, had an accident with pedestrian HS, 65 years old, who died.

The police say that the driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station by the police services for further action.

Police notification:

Around 20:20, on the "Lushnjë-Fier" road axis, citizen AF, 55 years old, driving a "Ford" type vehicle, had an accident with the pedestrian, citizen HS, about 65 years old.

As a result of the accident, the HS citizen died

The driver of the vehicle, a citizen of AF, was escorted to the police station by the police for further action.

The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
