The Council of Ministers has approved a DCM, according to which it is foreseen that on May 15 and 16, the employees of the administration of four municipalities, Tirana, Kamzë, Vorë and Krujë, will be on leave.

This DCM comes after the European Political Community Summit will be organized in Tirana on May 16th, bringing together leaders from across the European continent. 

The Armed Forces, the State Police, the Guard of the Republic, the fire service and employees of the healthcare system are excluded from this DCM.

The working day of May 15 and 16, 2025, for employees of state administration institutions, according to point 1 of this decision, will be replaced by days off within the year 2025.

DCM

1. Designating May 15 and 16, 2025 as days off for employees of state administration institutions, headquartered in the territories of the municipalities of Tirana, Kamzë, Vorë and Krujë, with the exception of the Armed Forces, the State Police, the Republic Guard, the fire service and employees of the health system.

2. The working day of May 15 and 16, 2025, for employees of state administration institutions, according to point 1 of this decision, will be replaced by days off within the year 2025.

3. The state administration institutions mentioned in point 1 are responsible for the implementation of this decision.

This decision enters into force upon publication in the "Official Gazette".
