The General Director of the National Institute of Albanian Orphans, Ilir Çumani, has brought to attention the death of Leat Kurti.

In a long analysis, Čumani details the serious event, bringing a panorama of the life of the 32-year-old as well as of his mother, stopping at the ordeal of suffering, in order to give the child a healthy life.

LEARN AND THE FINAL SAGA OF A SUFFERING WITHOUT RETURN...!

"For several days, Albanian public opinion has been involved in a rather heated debate, which has legitimately had a high sensitivity and through a strong citizen reaction has affected every Albanian family.

This highly sensitive debate has involved almost the entire society and therefore, if we were dealing with a normal state, with normal functional institutions, it would be imperative that beyond the narrow and petty political interests of the day, the state and institutions his law enforcement from the beginning of the time should rise to the height of the responsibility of the duty to act and put the points on (i) in such a shocking and significant event, to identify not only the causes, but also the real responsible her.

The tragic event of the loss of life at the hands of the State Police of the 32-year-old Lear Kurti, has already become the headline of endless debates on social networks, in all news editions and in television studios.

In this debate, many media, political and civil society actors are involved, with hypotheses and conjectures, statements and contradictions, which probably do not necessarily serve to clarify the truth and the circumstances of the event.

In fact, this event would not have received so much attention if the loss of the late Lear's life had occurred under completely natural circumstances, unlike what actually happened.

Because, Lear Kurti lost his life in very special and still unclear circumstances.

His life was extinguished at the hands of those individuals in the uniform of the state police, who, under any circumstances and for any reason, should have taken care and taken over according to the law and the routine protocol of the exercise of the duty, to ensure also the safety of his life.

As if all this were not enough, the state authorities (the State Police, the hospital and the government), strangely and inexplicably rushed to repeat the chorus of previous precedents, through the cacophony of excuses, (remember the case of the Klodian youths Rasha, Ilvi Meta, the 7-year-old girl Jonada Avdia, etc., victims of the police), being involved in various and contradictory public statements, with the sole aim of keeping anyone as far away from themselves as possible from the responsibility and legal consequences that this event has brought not at all common.

The further steps of the law-enforcement bodies, (such a hasty procedure of the Medical-Legal expertise to perform the autopsy of the victim at midnight, in open violation of the legal deadlines provided for in the law), the lack of participation in this procedure by a team of Anatomo experts - Pathological, the rejection of the family and the legal representative of the family from the hospital morgue, make this event even more mysterious and raise many questions which undoubtedly require not only courage, but mostly a high moral integrity, humane and professional to clarify the truth and the circumstances of the event to the end.

Day after day, hour after hour, all the testimonies and camera footage that were able to capture fragments with sequences of the trajectory and circumstances of this event, such as the wrong transport of the victim from the blue uniforms to the premises of the police station, then, the images of the deceased in agony and handcuffed in the emergency room, with a vigo on his arm receiving serum, all the professional arguments brought by the experts in the field through endless debates, the statements of the victim's close friend at the scene, converge in one point common.

They aim to dismantle the elaborate alibi and the manipulation of evidence by the state authorities and try to bring this event as close to the truth as possible.

Precisely, all these evidences and reasonable arguments, clothe it with a murky tone and make even more vague and mysterious the narrative of this tragic event, which has rightly culminated in a general revolt and anger of the citizen reaction and not only.

Anyway, under the pressure of such a wide public opinion and that of the media, it seems that the law enforcement institutions have started to move for the clarification of this event as soon as possible.

This clarification, after all, has to do not only with the restoration of public trust, but also with the inviolable dignity and seriousness that independent law-enforcement institutions must have, which keep the entire architecture of a legal state standing. constitutional and democratic, where everyone is and must be equal before the law.

In a single appearance in the media, Fatmira Mustafaj, Lear's mother, through an interview given to the journalist Klodiana Lala, clarified clearly and cleanly everything she knew about the terrible event for her unfortunate son.

Through her tears, pain and shame, among other things, she had the courage and courage to speak openly and without gloves about who her son was, with the strengths and weaknesses he had, but also to extinguish that smoke once and for all unjustly raised by the Homo Loquax, (the loquacious man), or idle talkers of the screens, that, according to them, Lear suffered from the disease of epilepsy, and that he was an adopted child, etc., etc.

There can be no greater pain for a mother, hearing such words on the most difficult day of her life, that in any case, with great dignity, she was able to face an opinion even with symptoms of necrophilia, which we face willingly or unwillingly. not infrequently in our social environment even in those cases when in fact, we should all shut up and at least respect the Code of Death.

Lear's mother confessed that her son enjoyed perfect health and that he had a powerful physique of seven tall.

She appealed to the state institutions to clarify the incident as soon as possible, since with her own eyes she had seen her son's body being sent to the mortuary, where hematomas and injuries that were caused by the punches and kicks that were inflicted on him were clearly visible. during detention by the police.

She confessed how Lear often told her that he was unjustly persecuted by the police and that all this had turned into a nightmare and a phobia of them, so he didn't like the world he was living in anymore... However, Lear's mother proved to be quite wise , laid and careful…

She spoke without bitterness, without anger, she did not seek retribution for the causes that brought the death of her only son. She only appealed and asked for justice, not only in her name, but in the name of all the unfortunate mothers who are in the same situation today.

Because, according to her, Laeri was everyone's son, he was a boy of the neighborhood, so everyone loved and respected him.

She prays that I only learn the truth about her son's unjust escape from this life, that I can serve him even where he is, as long as he has his breath alive..., she said at the end of the interview.

But who was the young Lear Kurti who has already taken such a sensational place on the front pages of the black chronicles in the Albanian and foreign media and portals...!?

Metaphorically, at first glance, he was a very ordinary 32-year-old young man, at the same time as the 32-year-old "democracy" of a tired Albania, exhausted from a long, painful, painful and hopeless transition. , plagued by many phenomena and social wounds, caused by crime and drugs, administrative and state corruption...

Leari lived his short life in an Albania which, unfortunately, never recognized him as its citizen, never gave him a single opportunity to feel equal opportunities among his peers, because always, together with his mother he felt himself excluded from all the social, economic and social life of the country.

In fact, Lear Kurti was no ordinary child. From the sufferings and difficulties of life, from a child without a childhood, he grew up quickly and became a man before his time.

Through his innate intelligence, ambitions and distinctive features, he became a well-educated young man, equipped for life, for the future. He mastered several foreign languages and had a passion for hieroglyphs and several professions that he loved.

He was a young man with a lot of imagination, with passions and desires for life, but unfortunately also with dreams that were killed, never realized, because he lived in an Albania that never gave him a single chance to live a normal childhood, like any other child normal and innocent of this world.

He was an only son, raised with many sufferings and hardships, with great troubles and sacrifices, sometimes eaten and sometimes not eaten, fatherless since birth....

He grew up amidst pain and tears by a single mother, also raised as an orphan in the Children's Home who never knew her family, never knowing who they were who brought her to life. She was born with a very beautiful and hopeful name, but life did not care for Fatmira in her tragic fate...

Ah, my Fatmira, you, my childhood friend, you, the tall, smiling girl who repeatedly ignored your fate as an orphan, with that redeemed humor and your brilliant optimism...

Today, I find it difficult to write in these lines the eulogy for your only Son... Laer was the only reason to give you a sliver of smile and motivate your existence in this life.

You, who kept your pride and dignity alive in every difficult situation that this crazy life brought you, today, you can't even make a face to express the proverbial pain, the greatest legitimate pain that only mothers feel in the same the situation you are in...

You can't even stammer even half a word between the sobs and flashes of pain that grips your entire being, because even the beautiful shine of your eyes has faded, slowly fading away...

And, when you listen to talk about the ordeal of suffering and the final saga of the pain of this strong woman, you understand that the dignified suffering of Fatmira comes as a moral lesson for all of us, the chronically indifferent who see the collective human drama before our eyes every day. , the mirror where the whole society can see itself….

You were right, Fatmira, when I often heard you repeat with your mouth the old saying: "...The orphan has no luck..."!!!

While I, today I would add:

"Never forget the fate of the Albanian orphan...!", writes Ilir Çumani
