Police have arrested the former director of the National Food Authority of Durrës, Elton Varaku , after he is suspected of destroying various work facilities and threatening and insulting employees on the premises of this institution.

Police announcement:

Durrës Local Police Directorate - Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Durrës Police Commissariat arrested in flagrante delicto citizen EV, 41 years old, resident of Shijak, former Director of the Durrës AKU, after he destroyed various work objects on the AKU premises.

He also used threatening and insulting language towards the institution's employees.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
