BREAKING NEWS/ SERIOUS accident in Gjirokastra, 3 young people lose their LIVES!

A serious accident resulting in three fatalities occurred this morning on the Gjirokastër-Tepelena road axis, at the place called Bypass.

As a result of the collision of two vehicles, a Volkswagen with license plate AB797VP, in which  Klejdi Myftari , 24 years old, and  Anxhelo Ruci , 28 years old, were traveling, both lost their lives from the injuries they sustained.

The accident also involved a Mercedes Benz vehicle with license plate AB552LV, in which citizens  Martin Dulaj , 26, was traveling, who died at the scene, and  Arsida Demiri , 20, who was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for more specialized assistance.

Her life is out of danger.

Gjirokastra Police Announcement:

"Around 03:18, on the "Gjirokastër-Tepelena" road axis, at the place called "Bypass", the vehicle driven by citizen MD, 25 years old, resident of Tepelena, collided with the vehicle driven by citizen KM, 24 years old, resident of Tepelena.

As a result of the accident, the two drivers of the vehicles, the passenger citizen AR, 27 years old, resident of Tepelena, lost their lives, and the citizen AD, 19 years old, resident of Delvina, was injured and is in the Trauma Hospital, under the care of doctors.

The investigation team continues to work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident."
