The police director in Rrëshen, Alfred Elezi stated from the scene that Martin Marku (Bardhi) was executed in his bar while drinking coffee with three other people.

"Martin Marku Bardhi was killed in his bar. Three people who were at the table with them were also injured. The perpetrators were two masked people with an SUV," he said.

But who are the leads being investigated?

"The conflicts that the Bardhi tribe had with other tribes are known," said the police director.

According to the director of the police, Alfred Elezi, the victim was in his bar with the other 3 injured people at a table.


The investigation track is currently the conflicts of the Bardhi tribe with other tribes. Elezi says that the victim was executed by two masked perpetrators with SUVs.

"Martin Bardhi was shot dead in his bar and 3 others who were at the table with him were injured. The perpetrators of the incident are two masked people with SUVs who burned the car after the incident.

We immediately went to the scene and where the vehicle was burned, the territory is being intensively controlled. We are taking the first steps, it is known that there was a conflict between the tribes, we are working to clarify the incident. The injured are under the care of doctors, they were at the table with the victim."

Martin Bardhi was arrested in March of this year as one of the perpetrators of shooting at Saimir Reçi's car in Rrëshen.

This event took place on March 26 and Martin Bardhi's son, Erind Bardhi, and another 28-year-old with blood ties to the Bardhi family were also involved.

The reason for this serious incident was a fight over the parking space between Erind Bardhi and Saimir Reç.

It is not yet known if today's event is revenge for what happened in March. The event has shocked the city, the bullets also caught three innocent people.
