Artur Cara's mother knows how the kidnappers lied to her son on July 7, 2004.

It was summer and the 9-year-old was helping his parents in the market of Elbasan by selling bags.

Someone came up to him and asked him to help him carry the food by car.

"From July 7, 2004, until today we have nothing we are looking for. I delivered him like every day at 7:30, until 12 o'clock he was seen in the market, by all his relatives, from his mother to his brother. After 12 o'clock, the time came for him to come home, they told him that Turi was gone, the boy came forward, I told him no, and that's when we started the search", says Sofije Carja, Artur's mother.

But the investigations into the kidnapping of Artur here in the Elbasan market have been lukewarm for a long time until the Elbasan prosecutor's office provides the name of an eyewitness who sold bags like him.

Aldo Sabriu, who had not been questioned once for 18 years in a row, spoke for the first time and showed the identity card of the kidnapper.

"We were both with Artur and we called 'Come on bag' and at this moment a man of about 40 years old, fat, short, with a mustache, in a checkered shirt, approached and for me this person must be a soldier because he had a radio like the ones the police wear and had a white car. I had seen this person before. That day, after Arturi and I carried the bags and he filled them with different foods, he asked us to help him carry the bags of food to the car. When we got there, he took out 1 thousand lek and said: Will you come with my uncle to the house to help me with the bags. I told him I'm not coming, Arturi lied and answered okay" - the witness is quoted in the document.

"When the denunciation came, they said we will wait a little bit because it is a children's adventure. Where we have not searched in Greece, I have searched", said Jakup Caraj, Artur's father.

"We have been looking for 20 years, even the son with us. The truth came out how it happened. Even anonymously. I see you son. The mind, the soul is there, I have wounds, I sit down and get up where I have my son. What happened. I only prayed to the Great God," said Artur's mother.

Convinced that it is facing a criminal group that kidnapped children to exploit them in the EU countries to beg, the Elbasan prosecutor's office has set in motion the Ministry of Justice through a letter of request and requests data from Greece for any data on Artur Carjan and whether or not there is an adoption practice for him

The prosecution of Elbasan admitted that it has identified the kidnapper of the child, but he cannot be investigated because he passed away, but investigations are continuing to find Artur, who is now 29 years old./ Tch
