A website imitating the Top Channel website is circulating on social media, spreading fake news inviting people to invest online. It's all a scam for profit, so Faktoje urges you to be careful.
Allegation: The Central Bank of Albania is suing Edi Manushi for what he said on live television
Verdict: Untrue
If in the last few days you have come across a website on the Facebook social network identical to that of Top Channel that invites you to invest in the online platform "Nearest Edge" to get rich, be careful. It is a fraud scheme intended to extort money.
Faktoje verified the scheme by following the link in the Facebook post. It takes you to the website https://weedenhost.com/ where an alleged interview with Edi Manushi, conducted by the moderator Blendi Salaj, is published.

" The Central Bank of Albania is suing Edi Manushi for what he said on live television ," is the title of the interview.
From the top, the fake article starts with the claim that the Bank of Albania has interrupted the live show, and even sued the moderator Edi Manushi after he revealed the secret of getting rich online.
In the fabricated interview between two well-known personalities of the national television Top Channel, the conversation guides Facebook users on how to 'get rich' through the online investment platform "Nearest Edge".
In order to make the fake interview written with the help of 'Google translate' as believable, it misuses the logo of the Top Channel television website and the 'Top Arena' show.
Manushi tells Salaj that with a deposit of only 25,000 lek you can become a millionaire, if you invest in the "Nearest Edge" platform, accompanying it with a link. If you click on the published link, you will see that it is a cryptocurrency scam.
Reactions
Given that the fraudulent scheme started with the false lawsuit and misused the Bank of Albania, Faktoje directed you for a reaction to the institution.
"We inform you that as far as the news sent with the link is concerned, it is totally untrue. The Bank of Albania has neither reacted nor sued for this part," the Central Bank clarifies after a request for comment from
"We appeal to the Albanian public to be prudent and responsible in the administration of savings or free liquidities that they own. He should direct investments towards products and financial instruments offered by institutions licensed and supervised by the Bank of Albania and the Financial Supervision Authority," advises the Bank of Albania.
Moderator Blendi Salaj also had an immediate reaction as he suddenly found himself the main character in the fraudulent scheme.
"It's all a hoax. The site, which imitates the Top-Channel website, quotes an alleged interview between me and Edi Manushi where we show how to make money through these online investments. We have never had that conversation, we have nothing to do with this trap, neither we nor Topi," writes Blendi Salaj on his official Facebook profile.
"I am convinced that whoever puts money there will never see it again. Don't lie. Let's not allow our acquaintances to fall prey," he concludes.
The same fraudulent scheme has also spread in North Macedonia, verified by our Portalb colleagues. Faktoje has previously verified other fraud schemes on social networks.
