Members of a criminal organization of hitmen, who allegedly attempted to  kill Yannis Lalas , were  handcuffed  on Tuesday morning by Greek police.

According to information, they are  two Greeks  and  four Albanians . 

The assassination attempt on  Lala, last September in Pagrati, is suspected to have been carried out by four Albanians.

One of them, who is known by the nickname " Demos ", has been accused in the past of murder and assassination.

Greek police reportedly found four Kalashnikovs and three pistols, as well as a quantity of cocaine and cash.

No further details have been released yet, as the investigation is still ongoing.

We recall that Yannis Lalas was executed in cold blood in Arachova on November 1, 2025.
