Accused of corruption and money laundering, SPAK passes Evis Berber's case

The Special Court is bringing to trial the former director of the Albanian Anti-Corruption Agency, Evis Berberi, as well as other individuals who have been named as defendants in this case.

Beberi had requested a summary trial, but the preliminary hearing judge said that the trial court would decide on this.

Berber's defense attorney claimed that the charges are not proven and left it up to the court to assess whether the investigations are complete or not, as well as whether to accept his request for a summary trial.
