A drug gang that smuggled tons of cocaine through Belgium is facing jail and the confiscation of millions of euros.

The 'business' of four men from Albania and Romania was destroyed after a raid in France. As part of an operation in a truck in Coquelles, 261.80 kilograms of cocaine were seized, hidden in 26 wooden structures that looked like beams. But it seems that this amount was only the tip of the iceberg. During an investigation of the truck driver, Constantin S. (38), the police found the Sky EÇ application installed on his iPhone, where hundreds of messages with drug traffickers were discovered.

According to the investigations, this criminal group is accused of having trafficked about one and a half tons of cocaine. Meanwhile, Albanians Altin D., 42 years old, and Rinor S., 40 years old, were arrested, who were loading the drugs, while David P. organized the transports.

The truck driver had told the police that he was afraid for his family to give up this activity, as he had two children in Romania.

"At one point I was threatened with a gun," said the driver in his testimony. Meanwhile, the traffic was led by the leader known as 'Bisha', who was sentenced to 7 years in prison and fined 40,000 euros. On the other hand, the driver Konstantin S. was sentenced to 3 years in prison, while the two Albanians were sentenced to 2 years each.
