The Durrës Prosecutor's Office confiscates the property worth 1 million euros of the suspect for committing 4 criminal offenses. At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Durrës, the Court of First Instance of Durrës ordered the confiscation of property in the name of citizen  Pëllumb Tuda , a building, a hotel and a bar in Durrës Beach, worth 1,000,000 Euros.

At the end of the judicial review for property proceedings no. 2/2020, registered against the investigative subject Pëllumb Tuda, a resident of Plazh, Durrës, proved that the legal conditions exist for the seizure of movable/immovable assets resulting in the name of the PT suspect, for the following reasons:

First: It exists beyond any reasonable doubt that the PT citizen is involved in the criminal activity of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense" provided for by Article 287 of the Penal Code, "Trafficking in narcotics" provided for by Article 283 of the Criminal Code. Penal, "Exploitation of prostitution", provided by article 114 of the Criminal Code and "Manufacturing and possession of firearms without permission", provided by article 278 of the Criminal Code, since this citizen has been charged with this criminal offense and was sentenced by the decision of the Durrës Judicial District Court.

Second: The PT citizen owns directly in his name the assets subject to seizure. The PT citizen is included in the circle of subjects whose assets are covered by the provisions of the Anti-Mafia Law articles 3/1 and 2/a.

Third: It is proven that the value of the assets, object of seizure, does not clearly fit the level of income, does not correspond to any declared or confirmed legal activity.

On this basis, with Decision no. 217, dated 09.06.2020, the Court of First Instance of Durrës has decided:

1. Acceptance of the request of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Durrës:

The confiscation of the following property in the name of the PT citizen, the palace property, Hotel + Bar facility in Durrës Beach with a value of 1,000,000 Euro.

Who is Tuda Pigeon? 

He is the owner of the well-known hotel in Durrës, Columbus, which has already been seized. Tuda is also a well-known name for the Albanian Police. He was previously convicted for the criminal offenses " Drug Trafficking " and " Prostitution Exploitation ".

Meanwhile, he has been arrested several times for injury, but has not been convicted by the court. Tuda was accused 5 years ago by his barkeep. The latter stated that he wanted to use her for prostitution and when she objected, he beat her barbarically. The girl with the initials MP went to the police with a hematoma in her eye, denouncing her employer.

"When I didn't accept, I told him that I'm not a prostitute, but a bartender and I don't accept to do this job, he beat me with whatever he had in hand. Take action because it won't leave me alone. He tells me I will kill you if you disobey my orders. I am afraid of him", she testified before the police.

The injury in "Colombo" in 2014

From a review by the Supreme Court of the request of one of those arrested in 2014 for the serious incident in the Pëllumb Tuda bar: "On 04.07.2014, around 02:00, Shpëtim Meta went to the bar "Kolombo", but he was not allowed to enter by the guard of the bar, Besnik Ruçi, who found that he was armed.

For this reason, they argued with each other, Shpetimi threatened him with a gun, shooting to the ground, while the guard punched him in the face, knocking him down.

Then citizen Shpëtim Meta left with his vehicle. About this event, the guard informed the owner of the Pëllumb Tuda bar, who at that moment approached the entrance of the bar.

The citizen Shpëtim Meta returned after about 10 minutes with his vehicle and started shooting with firearms in the direction of the citizen Besnik Ruci. The owner Pëllumb Tuda also shot with a pistol.

Citizen Pëllumb Tuda gave the pistol to citizen Ivan Tuda (his nephew) and then the latter gave it to citizen Lumturi Tuda to hide the weapon. The police then seized the crime weapon."
