The Steering Council reopens the procedure for electing the new director of RTSH

After a procedure suspended on January 30 at the request of the Parliamentary Media Committee, the new RTSH Steering Council decided with all votes of its members to cancel the procedure opened on January 6 for the election of the General Director of Radio Television Albania.

Also at this meeting held this Tuesday, the Steering Council decided to reopen the competition with the procedures starting from scratch. Within this deadline, interested parties will have to submit to Radio Television Albania the required documents according to the legal procedures that can be found on the official website of RTSH and then in a second meeting the Steering Council will review them.

Another important point of the meeting was the approval of the draft budget of Albanian Radio Television.
