The Albanian Radio Television Steering Board today proceeded with the process of electing the Director General of RTSH.

At today's meeting, the council members voted for the five candidates for the new director of RTSH. However, the procedure was rejected as in violation of the staturality because the Council did not discuss the criteria that each candidate meets or not. One of the members of the Council also voted from outside the state.

RTSH says the Steering Council has taken the decision to call the candidates Jetmir Shpuza and Aurora Polo, the latter the acting director since Alfred Peza's resignation.

7 votes for, 2 votes against;

Ermal Hoxha, 3 vota pro, 6 vota kundër;

Eni Vasili, 4 vota pro, 5 vota kundër;

Aurora Polo, 7 vota pro, 2 vota kundër
