The Greek police have today arrested a 43-year-old Albanian who is highly wanted and considered a dangerous person.

It is about Gentjan Abazaj who was caught by the Greek police in the "Peristeri" neighborhood of Athens.

The 43-year-old Albanian was handcuffed during an operation in a bar in the area by the research sector in cooperation with the OPKE team.

Abazaj was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a 50,000 euro fine by the Court of Athens, as the head of a criminal group that distributed cocaine and cannabis in Athens.

He camouflaged himself by driving various luxury vehicles with foreign license plates, including Albanian ones. His involvement in 60 drug-buying cases has been proven.

During the search of the 43-year-old's apartment, 2.5 kg of cocaine and 3 kg and 430 grams of marijuana, packaging and weighing equipment were found.

Abazi was previously convicted for drug, weapons and forgery cases, while serving time in various prisons in Greece.
