Through an account opened on the Instagram social network, 3 minors had turned the benefit of sums of money through fraud into a 'business'. All three promised different people meetings in exchange for money.

The Instagram page, according to police sources, bore the name of a girl, Migena Zenelaj, and in this form, other boys were contacted to receive various amounts of money, as they were initially promised meetings.

A complaint made by a 23-year-old man, to whom the three 17-year-olds introduced as Migena Zenelaj had asked for 150 thousand old lek in exchange for the meeting, has led to the disclosure of the fraud.

After the investigation carried out by the investigators of Commissariat no. 1 in Tirana, the identification of three minors was achieved, who have already been criminally prosecuted and are being investigated at large for the criminal offense of fraud.

The police were able to seize two mobile devices used by 3 minors and images from security cameras related to the documentation of the event.

This is not the first time that minors have been involved in criminal fraud activities through social networks in exchange for providing services and dating.
