The Criminal Chamber Court in Tirana has remanded 32-year-old Turkish woman,  Julide Yazici , in custody .

Prosecutor Francesk Ganaj has requested "arrest in prison" because he is wanted, while Judge Kujtim Vranici has also agreed to leave him in prison.

The suspect told the court that " she is politically persecuted ," because according to her, " she has protested against Erdogan and if she returns, her life is in danger ."

The young woman, a teacher by profession, is suspected of providing logistical support to a terrorist organization and participating in a terrorist organization and has been arrested on behalf of the Turkish state as a wanted person.

Yazici was sentenced to four years in prison for these crimes, with three years, 5 months and 22 days remaining.

She was arrested for extradition purposes and was arrested in Rinas while traveling from France to Albania. Verifications at the Rinas border crossing revealed that she was wanted by Interpol Ankara.

A source at Interpol Ankara told journalist Hoxha that seven years ago the suspect was a student and participated in protests against the government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

For this, she had received political asylum in France. Her lawyer Artan Shllaku also stated before the hearing that he would request her immediate release and not to be extradited, as her life is in danger.
