Iran retaliates: Attacks Israel and US bases in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Qatar

Tehran

The Iranian response to today's attacks has not been limited to Israel, as foreign media reports that there have been multiple explosions in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Qatar, countries that have American bases.

Iran launched missile attacks on a US base in Bahrain, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency reported.

Bahrain's interior ministry urged citizens to immediately move to the nearest safe place.

Bahrain is a key US ally in the Persian Gulf and home to the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquarters in Manama.

Meanwhile, a Qatari official says Qatar has intercepted two Iranian missiles.

The development shows that Iran is seeking to retaliate against the American attacks by striking on several fronts.
