The Special Court has remanded Durim Bami, who was extradited from Dubai to Albania on Thursday, in prison.

Durim Bami himself did not appear at the hearing but chose to be represented by his defense attorney, Ilir Murati.

The latter asked the court for a lighter measure such as house arrest, but the black squads rejected the request. The prosecution, SPAK, was represented by Prosecutor Altin Dumani.

Meanwhile, in this hearing for security measures, lawyer Ilir Murati raised concerns before the panel headed by Judge Erion Çela that his client's life is being threatened in prison 313.

The request will be reviewed by Prisons in cooperation with the SPAK prosecutor for his transfer to another prison.
