Clevio and Fjodora Fjora

Rapper and well-known personality in social networks, Clevio Serbiano, whose real name is Kleviol Ahmeti, has given an interview for the show "Day by Day" of moderator Fjodora Fjora on Albanian Radio Television.

The interview was shot a few days ago at Kleviol Ahmeti's house in Lushnje because he is under the security measure of "prison arrest" and was broadcast this afternoon.

But, regarding this interview, there have been many negative reactions on social networks, because a character like Clevio is given television time and appears on public television paid for by the Albanians' taxes.

One of the reactions came from Endrit Shabani of Nisma Thurje. In a post on social networks, he wrote that Albanians are buying with money a level of conversation that you can't find even in the corner of the neighborhood.

According to him, RTSH is not allowed to publish such characters because it is not a business and it needs clicks. He further adds that the tens of millions of euros that we give him every month should be enough so that, unlike the private media, RTSH takes care of the education of young people, and not thunders the "lips" or "besprems".

Shabani writes that apparently it is difficult to have journalists who are not caught up in the fever of "megaluxury" or media that do not suffer from the "44 sacrifices" virus.

Full reaction:

Every month, millions of Albanians, including pensioners and those who live with economic assistance, pay 1 thousand lek per family as a tax for Albanian Radio and Television.

And with this money, we buy a level of conversation that you can't find even in the corner of the neighborhood.

In neoliberal capitalism, where profit guides all social activity, competition is only for people's attention.
And in the age of social networks, the one who scandalizes the most attracts attention. Consequently, the crazier you are or act, the more attention you attract.

Individuals then sell this attention to companies that want to advertise. In short, popular individuals who are not selling anything, are actually selling the attention of their audience.

Private media, being profit-oriented, sells its space to businesses for advertising. That is why it is interested in promoting the character that serves as a 'charm' to bring the public to its platform.

What about RTSH, which is not a business, what the hell are you looking for?

Tens of millions of Euros that we give every month should be enough to eliminate the need for clicks and advertisements. This money should be enough so that, unlike the private media, RTSH takes care of the education of young people, and not to find "lips" or "besprems"

But apparently they didn't say it.

Although freed from the pressure for advertising, many journalists have lost their compass, and have turned clicks into indicators of their value. And they measure professional success by the number of views, forgetting the power they have and the responsibility they have to take in this society.

Apparently, it's difficult to have journalists who don't get the fever of 'megaluxury' or media who don't suffer from the virus of '44 sacrifices'?!
