Balluk's immunity, the journalist reveals what the head of SPAK stated
Meeting of the Mandates Council

Today, the Council for Regulation, Mandates and Immunity met to review SPAK's request to lift Belinda Balluku's parliamentary immunity. The latter has been suspended from her duties as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, while SPAK is demanding her arrest.

In Top Story, Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha revealed what SPAK leader Klodian Braho stated during the closed-door meeting.

Hoxha said that Braho also commented on the SP initiative to lift immunity.

"Interesting was the intervention of Chief Prosecutor Klodian Braho, where he removed two parallels, where he requested and repeated the authorization to lift the immunity of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. Mr. Braho mentioned the public fact, while the majority deputies insisted on suspension from office. He stated that from the facts made public, the Constitutional Court has expressed itself, but Mr. Braho added, Balluku continues to go to office until the decision is made clear.

Braho has drawn parallels regarding the other side, the intervention in the Criminal Procedure Code, which was recently proposed, which has remained pending for the immunity of the minister. Mr. Braho also mentioned this proposal, saying that not only is it a fact that Mr. Balluku goes to work, but also the appointments are personal to Mrs. Balluku. Due to the investigations, suspension alone is not enough, which is why they did not agree with the majority's suggestion ", Anila Hoxha expressed in Top Story.
