A dangerous criminal who was released even though he was arrested a year ago in a quick operation to free a kidnapped in Benalmádena. Agents found a torture chamber in the home with a chainsaw, pruning shears and a silenced handgun.

The National Police considers DN to be the leader of the gang of kidnappers who on May 3, 2023 carried out the incredible kidnapping of a businessman who ended up five hours later in a luxury villa in Benalmádena.

The kidnapped person was an individual of Syrian origin who managed a cryptocurrency wallet.

DN and his gang, to show that they were serious, sent an acquaintance of the victim a picture in which the victim was seen face down with the barrel of a gun resting on his head. But they made a mistake.

The photo contained information that led police to a residential area near the Xanit Internacional hospital in the city of Benalmádena. When the head of the organization was arrested, he was carrying forged Greek documents. Like after the shooting in Marbella.

Specialists of Groups II and IV of the Organized Crime Section of the Provincial Police of Malaga took charge of the investigation which focused on a drug theft and in which their counterparts from the Marbella Police Station and Group III Greco Costa del collaborated Sol.

The investigators have carried out a detailed reconstruction of the events and the itinerary of the suspects, which bore fruit on May 3 with the arrest in Seville of two persons of Albanian nationality. One of them, DN the other, a compatriot he had met.
