The assassins of the assassination attempt in the village of Larushk in Fushë-Kruja had used a Volkswagen Golf 5 type vehicle to carry out the criminal event.

The Golf vehicle was stolen in Tirana some time ago. After the assassination, the perpetrators abandoned and burned the car in the area of ​​Lapidari in Tapiza.

Police forces that went to the scene found the vehicle on fire. The car had no license plates and 3 Kalashnikovs were found inside the vehicle.

These weapons were seized by the police and sent to the Scientific Police laboratory for examination.

It is not clear if the 3 Kalashnikov weapons were used in the assassination attempt with 1 killed and 2 wounded. This is expected to be determined by the Scientific Police laboratory that will conduct the ballistics tests.

According to the information from the investigation group, it is suspected that there were 2-3 assassins, one of them in the role of the driver.

The investigative team is gathering evidence that could help identify the assassins.

The perpetrators fired Kalashnikov volleys towards the apartment of Gentjan Bejtje. Ramazan Sino, 29 years old, brother-in-law, was killed by the shooting, and Gentjan Bejtje's two sons were injured. One of them was released from the hospital at 04:00 in a light condition, while the other, 13-year-old Alvi Bejtja, is under the care of doctors.

The target of the assassination attempt was Gentjan Bejtja, who escaped assassinations several other times.

Bejtja, a former employee of the prison police, is known by police structures for his criminal background and the enmity created with some criminal groups of Fushë-Kruja with whom he had previously been friends.
