New details have been revealed regarding yesterday's assassination attempt in Rrilë i Lezha, where three people shot at 54-year-old Agron Puka.

The police announce that the 54-year-old responded with firearms to the assassins, which is the reason why he was arrested by the Blues.

The weapon that Puka used to retaliate was also seized.

The wounding of the AP citizen, committed yesterday morning, in the village of Rrilë, is revealed.

The 3 citizens who fired at the 54-year-old's vehicle have been identified and intensive efforts are being made to capture them.

The 54-year-old man was put in handcuffs, after the investigation showed that he also shot at 3 citizens with a firearm, which he was carrying without a permit.

As a result of the professional investigations, the immediate management of the footage from the cameras and other actions at the scene, carried out immediately after the gunshot wound of the AP citizen, around 08:00 on 06.03.2024, in the village of Rrilë, Lezhë, the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person of the Lezhë Local Police Directorate made it possible to clarify and document with legal evidence the circumstances of this case.

For the case, VT citizens, 32 years old, resident in the village of Tale, were identified and declared wanted for the criminal offenses of "Intentional murder", remaining in the attempt and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". AK, 31 years old, resident of Tale village and KN, 18 years old, resident of Shengjin. 

The investigation showed that these citizens, due to a previous conflict, for weak motives, tried to stop the vehicle in which the AP citizen was moving and then shot at this vehicle with firearms.

Following the procedural actions, the AP citizen, 54 years old, resident of the village of Rrilë, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Deliberate murder", pending and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". , after the investigations showed that he shot at 3 citizens with a pistol, which he was carrying without a permit. He is currently receiving medical help at the Lezha hospital, where his life is out of danger.

The pistol of the AP citizen was found and seized by the Police services, along with ammunition.

Meanwhile, intensive work is being done to locate and arrest the 3 wanted persons.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Lezhë, for further actions.
