Wanted for attempted murder, after 3 years the 29-year-old is arrested in Shkodër

A 29-year-old wanted for attempted murder in Shkodër was arrested by the police 3 years later. He is Brisel Kurtmetaj, a resident of the "Guerrile" neighborhood of Shkodra, wanted for attempted murder, possession of weapons without a permit and disturbing public peace.

In August 2020, the 29-year-old tried to kill a person with the initials SB after a momentary conflict. But as a result of the shooting, a bystander was slightly injured.

For Kurtmetaj, the Court of Shkodra has set the security measure of detention in prison in absentia.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Shkodër Judicial District Court for further action.
