SPAK requests the dismissal of the case against Pjerin Ndreu, who is being investigated under the charge of "abuse of office".

Etleva Deda has been appointed as a judge by electronic lottery, who, after setting the date of the hearing, will consider the prosecution's request to dismiss the case or not.

Ndreu was reported to the special structure by the Democratic Party in Lezha in 2023 regarding the sidewalk on the Lezha-Shëngjin road, in the Xhenjo neighborhood.

The road axis is under the control of the Regional Road Administration and the municipality of Lezha had no right to carry out works, the DP said in its complaint at the time.

The Democratic Party accused Ndreu of awarding this tender during the campaign. Other municipal officials involved in the tender for the construction of the road are also under investigation.

For this matter, Pjerin Ndreu was summoned to SPAK in July 2024, where after about 1 hour of interrogation, he publicly stated that he gave explanations in his capacity as a person under investigation for the charge of "abuse of office".
