The Supreme Court decides today, will SPAK receive the January 21 file?

The request of the family members of Aleks Nika, killed in the protest of January 21, 2011, who demand that the file of 'January 21' be transferred to SPAK, is being examined in the Supreme Court today. The court session will take place today at 13:00 with the judging panel Ilir Panda, Sokol Binaj and Sandër Simoni.

The parties will also be present at the hearing, that is, the Nika family and SPAK representatives, where it will also be determined whether the case will be handed over to the Special Prosecutor's Office, overturning the decision of the two previous levels.

It will be the Supreme Court that, with an injunction, will decide whether the investigations will be continued by the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana or will be passed on to SPAK, to open the investigation of what the Strasbourg Court called a state crime.
