The Supreme Court accepts the request of Berisha and Malltez for the removal of

The Supreme Court has registered this Friday the request of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi for the revocation of the security measure.

Both Berisha and Malltezi oppose the "house arrest" measure.

Berisha has been in this measure since December 30, 2023, by the decision of judge Irena Gjoka, while Malltezi has been in this measure since November 21 of the same year, with the decision of Special Appeal judge Ilirjana Olldashi.

According to the lottery, judge Sokol Binaj, relator, was appointed to examine this request.
