The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime  rejects the request of the " Pegasus " company of businessman Ianis Karathanos for the return of items seized by the Special Prosecution, within the framework of the investigations into the laboratory concession.

The court accepted the request of prosecutor Dorina Bejko , who requested the dismissal of the request with the argument that the seized evidence should be kept by the prosecution for the purpose of the ongoing investigation.

We recall that investigations have been expanded regarding concessions in the health sector, where businessman Klodian Allajbeu has been placed under scrutiny .

This is about the investigation of the Healthcare Laboratory Concession worth over 100 million euros, while documents, cell phones, computers and other materials valuable for the investigation have been seized.

In addition to the controls carried out on the premises of the company "Evita" sh.pk, a company owned by Allajbeu, linked to the American Hospital, SPAK and BKH have also conducted an action on the 'Equos Resort' complex and the 'Pegasus' company of businessman Janis Karathanos.

Pegasus is the parent company of AB Laboratory Solution BV. Both Labopharma and Pegasus have made separate requests to the GJKKO for the return of the seized items.
