Margjeka's husband was sentenced to 4 years in prison on the charge of passive corruption. Klaudo Žilla was sentenced to 3 years in prison for the charge of active corruption.

Meanwhile, the lawyer Skender Deminaj was sentenced to 3 years in prison, but the sentence was suspended on probation.
