Në kuadër të operacionit është ndaluar autobusi i linjës Padova – Lushnjë, me drejtues shtetasin E. Ç., 32 vjeç. Gjatë kontrollit paraprak, shërbimet e Policisë kanë konstatuar mallra të ndryshme të dyshuara të kontrabanduara.

Autobusi është kthyer për kontroll të specializuar, nga Task Forca permanente që përbehet nga Policia Kriminale e DVP Durrës, Policia Kufitare e portit të Durrësit dhe autoritetet doganore të portit, pasi disponohej informacion nga Policia, se në brendësi të autobusit kishte të fshehura sasi të madha eurosh.

Si rezultat i kontrollit të imtësishëm, në pjesën e sipërme të autobusit janë gjetur të fshehura 6 qese plastmasi, brenda të cilave kishte disa pako, me rreth 522 000 euro, të cilat u sekuestruan në cilësinë e provës materiale së bashku me mallrat e dyshuara të kontrabanduara që u gjetën në brendësi të autobusit (kafe, cigare, pije alkoolike, ilaçe, kuti me mentesha, karroca për fëmijë, elektroshtëpiake dhe veshmbathje).

Në përfundim të veprimeve të para hetimore është bërë arrestimi i shtetasve:

Ç., 32 vjeç, banues në Lushnje, pronar dhe drejtues i autobusit; D. K., 36 vjeç, banues në Tiranë dhe A. C., 32 vjeç, banues në Elbasan, ndihmësit e drejtuesit të autobusit.
Grupi hetimor, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë, vijon punën për zbardhjen dhe dokumentimin e plotë të këtij rasti dhe për identifikimn dhe kapjen e personave të tjerë të përfshirë.
